Body Mirage

I found out over the weekend that I have the opposite of anorexia. I actually have been seeing myself thinner than I really am. Either that or all of the mirrors in Dallas are skinny carnival mirrors..I went home to visit family and although all of my clothes fit, the mirrors at various relatives homes, restaurants, etc. revealed that I look WIDER -- as in I did a double take wider - than I had been perceiving Dallas. Shit. Now, how distorted are the sizes I am buying in Dallas? Is my 8 or 10 really a 16 in Denver size??? I have pondered the concept of perception as reality and I understand that some people have dramatically different perceptions and visual ideas of the world -but this is not good. I need the evil Janice Dickinson to come in & call me a repulsive lifeless cow, either that or cut down on my beer and no exercise health regime, because apparently it is not working.
